Frequently asked questions
- Am I suitable?
The Implantium Network is perfect for anyone seeking dental implant work. Although we also know that every individual is unique and has specific needs, which is why we offer an in-depth consultation as part of the process so that you can meet your dentist, talk through your exact treatment plan, and agree a total fee up-front.
- How does the pricing structure work?
The initial consultation costs £100 which includes some x-rays (occasionally more specialist scans may be needed which would be at an additional cost, but this would be agreed with you at the outset). If you decide to go ahead with the treatment plan, you can tie into these Fixed Fee costs:
| Single tooth | £1350 |
| A bridge replacing two teeth, using one implant | £1450 |
| A bridge replacing three teeth, using two implants | £2800 |
| An implant-retained denture, using two implants | £2220 |
| An implant-retained denture, using four implants | £3640 |
- Are there any exclusions?
Yes. As you’d expect, particularly complex work isn’t included in the Fixed Fee plan. Specific exclusions include:
- Bone grafting
- Temporary replacement teeth
- Extractions
- Sinus Lifts
- Some diagnostic wax-ups
- Dental bars to retain dentures
- Cobalt chrome partial dentures and frameworks.
If you require any complex work, you’ll be told at the time of your consultation and your dentist will agree any additional fees with you up-front.
- How many appointments will I need?
Every individual’s treatment plan is unique, but as a guide, you should expect to be seen by your dentist at least four times for a simple implant case. If you need extractions, dentures, or reviews, then you may need more appointments. Your personal plan will outline exactly how many you will require and what to expect at each.
- How long will treatment take?
From start to finish, your implant treatment should take approximately six months. After your implants are placed, there is an eight to twelve week healing time before impressions can be taken, and then around two to three weeks for the laboratory to make your customised bridge or crown.
- Can implants fail?
It’s very rare for an implant to fail, but as with any medical procedures, it is possible. However, if this happens and you have followed the post-operative guidelines, we will replace the affected implant without charge. If grafting is needed, a charge will be made to cover this additional work.
If you have any additional queries, or would like to discuss your specific implant requirements in detail, please contact a member of our dedicated team on 08450 745803, who will be more than happy to help put your mind at ease.
